DOFO.9 DECOLONIZE STRUCTURE

Reclaiming Naming. Reclaiming Memory. Reclaiming Orientation.

The Dofo.9 Decolonize Structure is not rebellion for the sake of reaction.
It is restoration of original orientation. Colonization did not only take land.
It overlaid language, names, maps, identity, memory, and cosmology.

The conqueror’s pen renamed the world — and through renaming, redefined reality.

Dofo.9 refuses that overlay.

1. Reclaiming Naming Authority

Names are not neutral. Names define perception. We reject imposed ethnonyms and geopolitical labels that replaced ancestral orientation. We will not repeat conqueror terminology as unquestioned truth. If a body of water was renamed through imperial mapping, we do not inherit that framing. If a nation’s identity was linguistically altered through colonial administration, we do not treat that as original. Naming returns to alignment — not domination.

2. Identity Without Imposed Labels

We do not accept identity constructed through:

• Colonial census categories
• European racial taxonomies
• Missionary renaming systems
• Slave-trade identity replacement

We reject imposed personal names that disconnect lineage memory.

Identity is not assigned by the captor. Identity flows from continuity.

3. We Will Not Speak the Conqueror’s Map

We will not normalize imposed names.

We will not repeat ocean names drawn by empire.
We will not accept borders designed in foreign rooms.
We will not treat colonial renaming as original identity.

If a land was renamed through domination,
we question the name.

Naming is power.
We reclaim it.

We Reject Slave Identity

We will not inherit the names of captors.
We will not normalize missionary renaming.
We will not carry identities assigned in chains.

Our identity is not European paperwork.
Our lineage is not a plantation registry.

We define ourselves.

We Reject Forced Religion

We will not accept be-lie-f systems imposed through conquest.
We will not mistake conversion for awakening.
We will not inherit theology introduced by military expansion.

Spiritual sovereignty is non-negotiable.

Knowing must come from alignment
not pressure, fear, or empire.

We Denounce Imported Frameworks

We reject:

• Colonial history narratives
• European racial classifications
• External definitions of civilization
• Standardized education that erases origin

We will not view ourselves through the conqueror’s lens.

We adopt the Dofo.9 framework.

Orientation.
Cycle Awareness.
Reason.
Right Relationship.
Transmission.
Continuity.

This Is Not Hate.

This Is Restoration.

We are not attacking people.
We are dismantling overlays.

We are not rewriting history.
We are uncovering what was buried.

We are not rebelling for chaos.
We are restoring orientation.

Declaration

We will not repeat imposed ethnonyms.
We will not inherit conqueror vocabulary.
We will not accept identity built through domination.

We stand in Dofo.9.

We reclaim naming.
We reclaim memory.
We reclaim framework.

We reclaim ourselves.

DOFO.9 DECOLONIZATION OATH

Become a Mentor

I stand in conscious orientation. I recognize that colonization did not only take land, it imposed names, reassigned identity, rewrote memory, and standardized narratives. I refuse to inherit conquest as unquestioned truth. I refuse to repeat imposed language without examination. I refuse to carry identity assigned through domination or accept renaming as origin. I reclaim naming authority. I question overlayed maps, inherited classifications, and narratives written without our voice. I reject forced belief systems, imposed epistemologies, and frameworks that disconnect us from continuity. I affirm orientation before imitation, reason before repetition, right relationship before domination, and continuity before disruption. I honor ancestral memory and natural law. I commit to precision over reaction, research over rumor, restoration over distortion. I will not respond with hatred, but with clarity. I do not seek revenge, I seek alignment. I do not erase others, I remove overlays. I stand in sovereign orientation. I reclaim naming, I reclaim memory, I reclaim framework, and I walk forward aligned in Dofo.9.

DOFO.9 DECOLONIZATION IMPLEMENTATION PLAN

PHASE I — AUDIT & CLARITY

Objective: Identify overlays before attempting removal.

  1. Language Audit

    • Identify colonial-era place names still in use.

    • Document original names where historically verified.

    • Distinguish between imposed names and evolved linguistic forms.

  1. Curriculum Audit

    • Review textbooks for Eurocentric framing.

    • Identify absence of indigenous knowledge systems.

    • Analyze how Africa is positioned in global narratives.

  1. Identity Audit

    • Study naming patterns influenced by missionary and plantation systems.

    • Map generational loss of indigenous naming traditions.

  1. Religious & Epistemic Audit

    • Assess dominance of externally introduced belief frameworks.

    • Evaluate whether indigenous cosmologies are present or erased.

Deliverable: Public report documenting findings with citations.

PHASE II — RESEARCH & DOCUMENTATION

Objective: Replace emotion with evidence.

  1. Establish research committees (historians, linguists, archivists).

  2. Compile primary source records of indigenous names.

  3. Digitize oral histories.

  4. Create a verified naming database (land, lakes, rivers, cities).

Principle: Restoration must be historically grounded, not speculative.

PHASE III — ORIENTATION REFORM

Objective: Shift knowledge transmission.

  1. Introduce indigenous geography modules in schools.

  2. Teach pre-colonial political systems and knowledge systems.

  3. Restore indigenous language education.

  4. Create youth study circles based on Dofo.9 framework:

    • Orientation

    • Cycle Awareness

    • Reason

    • Right Relationship

    • Transmission

    • Continuity

Measure of Success: Youth can identify original names and historical transitions.

PHASE IV — SYMBOLIC & CULTURAL RESTORATION

Objective: Normalize reclaimed identity.

  1. Encourage voluntary reclamation of indigenous names.

  2. Promote indigenous language signage.

  3. Host public lectures and orientation workshops.

  4. Produce media content highlighting restored naming.

Important: No coercion. Restoration must be voluntary and informed.

PHASE V — INSTITUTIONAL ENGAGEMENT

Objective: Structural recognition.

  1. Petition educational boards to update curriculum.

  2. Advocate for dual-name recognition (original + current).

  3. Engage cultural ministries for historical accuracy reforms.

  4. Publish white papers challenging inaccurate narratives.

PHASE VI — FRAMEWORK INDEPENDENCE

Objective: Build alternative epistemic structures.

  1. Develop Dofo.9 orientation centers.

  2. Create independent research institutes.

  3. Establish publishing platforms outside colonial academic gatekeeping.

  4. Train youth in critical methodology and archival literacy.

  • It must be structurally intelligent.

  • It must avoid replacing one dogma with another.

RISK MITIGATION

Avoid:

  • Historical romanticism without documentation.

  • Replacement mythology.

  • Racial hostility.

  • Reactionary symbolism without policy depth.
